DOOM: The Dark Ages - 4K test on Ultra Nightmare with GeForce RTX 5090
Our YouTube channel has published DOOM: The Dark Ages Exclusive 4K Benchmark on Settings Ultra Nightmare with GeForce RTX 5090. This is part of a larger test where we compared dozens of video cards - from budget to top-end. The full review is available on our website.
The test build includes Ryzen 7 9800X3D, X670E board, 48GB DDR5-8000 and flagship RTX 5090. In the video, we tested the game in six modes: native rendering with TAA, DLSS Quality, and DLAA with frame generation at 2X, 3X, and 4X. DLSS Quality with FG 4X is also shown.
Even without upscaling, the RTX 5090 delivers smooth 4K gaming, and when DLSS is activated DLAA with Frame Generation 4X - an increase of over 200 FPS. It is important to note that DLAA FG 3X and 4X not only increase the frame rate, but also maintain perfect clarity and smoothness. DLSS Quality FG 4X also provides an excellent balance between quality and speed.
