Death Stranding 2 Goes Gold — PS5 Release Date: June 26

Kojima Productions has officially completed development death stranding 2. Hideo Kojima himself announced this, confirming that the project had entered the “gone gold” status, which means that the game is completely ready and has already been sent to print for release on physical media. The release will take place exactly on schedule - 26 June 2025 year, exclusively on PlayStation 5.

This statement was made immediately after Kojima admitted the day before that the developers still had unfinished sections at the end of April. However, the work was quickly completed, and now the studio has moved on to the final stage - disc preparation and logistics. According to the team, all critical errors have been eliminated, and the quality meets Kojima Productions' internal standards.

An additional reason for discussion was given new gameplay clip, published without unnecessary effects and direction - only "pure" gameplay. This gave fans a better idea of ​​​​the combat system, as well as changes to the mission structure. Earlier in the interview, it was reported that the main storyline of Death Stranding 2 could take up to 70 hours of playthrough, making the game the largest project in Kojima's career.

Now all fans have to do is wait for the release. Before returning to dark post-apocalyptic world Sam Bridges and mysteries are only a couple of months away. Development is complete, there will be no more postponements - everything is going according to plan.
