Blogger Skill Up Receives Strike From Fntastic Developers
The famous blogger Skill Up with a million subscribers on YouTube faced an unfounded strike from the developers of Fntastic. The reason for the claim was a screenshot showing the founders of the studio - Eduard and Aisen Gotovtsev. The blogger noted that he used materials taken from open sources, or more precisely - from a video uploaded by the Fntastic studio itself, which was later deleted. Skill Up emphasized that he did not disclose any additional confidential data, and the faces and names of the Gotovtsevs have long been known to the public.
This is especially puzzling considering that Fntastic has recently returned to the gaming scene and is trying to rebuild its reputation after the failure of The Day Before, which was pulled from sale four days after its release due to terrible Steam ratings. The studio is currently raising funds for a new project. Escape Factory on Kickstarter, but with this approach to publicity, the chances of success look doubtful.
