BioWare has announced the release of the first patch for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which will be released later this week. While the studio has previously stated that there are no plans to release DLC for the game, this update confirms its commitment to improving the current gaming experience.

According to the developers, the upcoming patch will include “bug fixes, minor balance changes, and some crash mitigation measures.” The full list of changes will be published later, but it is already known that the update will address the following aspects:

  • Character customization: Issues related to customizing the Inquisitor's appearance and characteristics will be fixed.

  • Companion Skill Points: Issues related to the distribution and use of companion skill points have been resolved.

  • DLSS implementation: Improved support for Deep Learning Super Sampling technology in the PC version of the game, which will improve performance and graphics quality.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The release of this patch demonstrates BioWare's commitment to supporting and improving the game, despite the lack of plans for additional story expansions.
