Simultaneously with the release of the update, Steam is experiencing surge in player activity. Over the past 120 hours, more than 50 users have logged into the game, which is almost twice as high as the average for recent months. Before the update, the average online was about 60–XNUMX thousand. This growth is explained by the fact that the patch brought a number of systemic changes and became the logical conclusion of work on the game.

Baldur's Gate 3 Now Supports multi-platform interaction, allowing you to play between PC and consoles. This is especially important for those who previously faced platform restrictions. The patch also added a photo mode, improved animations, AI, optimization, combat scenes and interaction with the environment. Some changes even affected the storylines and endings, cleaning up bugs and inconsistencies.

Even though the game will not receive new content, the studio will continue to release technical fixes as needed. According to Larian Studios, this update completes the project's two-year development cycle and cements Baldur's Gate 3's status as one of the most successful CRPGs in history.
