ARC Raiders May Release on June 6 — Fans Find Timer Referencing Summer Game Fest

Shooter fans ARC Raiders by Embark (creators of The Finals) discovered a curious clue in the beta code that points to possible release date of the game - June 6. Steam temporarily released an update in which users found a string encrypted in Base64 format. Once decrypted, the text led to a website with a countdown, the end of which coincides with the opening of Summer Game Fest 2025 - June 6 at 00:00 Moscow time.

The developers have not yet officially confirmed the release date, however, judging by Embark's past experience, a sudden launch on the day of the presentation is possible, as it already happened with The Finals in December. Such "shadowdrops" are becoming increasingly popular, especially among multiplayer projects. Many players already assume that Embark will repeat the strategy - especially since the second tech test, which took place in May, received extremely positive reviews and showed a high degree of readiness for the game.

ARC Raiders is a PvPvE extraction shooter, where teams of players fight for resources in a post-apocalyptic version of Earth. Players take on the roles of raiders from the colony of Speranza, and they must simultaneously fight other squads and hostile AI mechanisms, guarding the territory. A unique feature of the game is hybrid mission structure, combining dynamic shootouts, survival elements and extraction with loot.

The setting, visual style and mechanics of ARC Raiders have already managed to attract the attention of the community, especially after the successful launch of The Finals. If the information about the timer is confirmed, then the game could become a big premiere at Summer Game Fest 2025, and the release is one of the most talked about events of June. Everything points to the project being close to completion, and Embark is preparing a loud return to the multiplayer shooter genre.
