After the patch from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered for Game Pass DLSS, FSR and anti-aliasing are gone

After the release of Updates April 25 Users have noticed serious problems in the PC version The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, available through Game Pass. According to Reddit users, the graphics settings have lost options for anti-aliasing and image scaling technologies, such as DLSS from NVIDIA and FSR from AMD.

Players complain about significant performance degradation: Without active upscaling, the load on video cards increased, especially on less powerful systems. Some users experienced sharp drops in frame rate, which made the game almost unplayable at high settings.

Bethesda representatives confirmed the existence of the bug, stating that the DLSS and FSR functions themselves technically continue to work, but their settings are no longer displayed in the settings menu. However, numerous player reviews indicate the opposite: the lack of upscaling actually affects performance, and image quality is degraded.

Bethesda is currently working on fixing the situation. The company has promised to return the lost graphics options in the next updates and fix the bug that appeared after the last patch.

The release date for the new fix has not yet been announced, but the community is expressing dissatisfaction, since it was the support of modern scaling technologies that allowed the demanding remaster to be played comfortably on a wide range of PCs.
