Valve removed the Transit map from CS2, citing racist elements.
On October 1st, four custom maps were added to Counter-Strike 2: Transit, Golden, Palace и RooftopHowever, after just two days Valve removed Transit from official matchmaking., without explaining the reason. The community quickly figured out that the problem lay in offensive name of one of the game objects, and also, perhaps, in copyright infringement.

An Easter quest with missing cat posters was hidden on the Transit map—a reference to the game. StrayAfter activating all objects on the map, animated cat in a bucket, descending on a rope. However, as it turned out, the internal name of one of the objects contained a racial slurOne of the map's creators, user Rikuda, admitted his guilt, claiming it was a "joke" that he had "forgotten about."
Additionally, the following came into view: FPI Bank building, which visually references the "Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc." cartoon Phineas and FerbGiven the Disney brand's ownership, legal action from copyright holders is also possible, although this has not yet been confirmed.
The situation put not only one developer, but the entire team working on Transit at risk. The map, which had already become an official part of CS2, was removed due to negligent and toxic behavior, which crossed out an important success for the entire group of authors.
