The first patch for Dying Light: The Beast will fix bugs and may bring back ray tracing.

Dying Light: The Beast was one of the most notable releases of the week. In the new part Kyle Crane is back. as the main character and explore a fresh open world using parkour and combat skills. The game offers new ways to kill zombies, including original finishing moves and devastating weapons. However, the release version faced a number of technical problems, which users noticed immediately after the release.

One of the main complaints was visual bug with rain indoors, day-night cycle errors, disrupting the atmosphere and rhythm of the game. Techland has officially confirmed that The first patch is already in the works, and will be released early next week. The developers stated that the team is working even on weekends to fix the crashes on PC and consoles as quickly as possible.

In addition to the fixes, Techland is considering the ability to bring back the cut ray tracing, however, this has not yet been definitively confirmed. As compensation for the inconvenience, all players have access to the powerful Hellhound shotgun, which can be obtained right now from the in-game stash. This temporary bonus should offset the technical flaws of the release version.
