Rockstar Developer: Grand Theft Auto VI Doesn't Need Second Trailer to Succeed

Grand Theft Auto VI and without additional trailers, it is generating huge interest among players, according to the former technical director Rockstar North Obbe Vermeij. In his opinion, the preservation element of surprise will only enhance the effect of the game's release and make its release even louder.

Vermeil shared this thought as part of the celebration 17th Anniversary of Grand Theft Auto IV, also talking about the difficulties of development on PlayStation 3 and the postponement of the release of GTA IV to April 2008. According to him, if he had taken part in the marketing campaign for GTA VI, he would have limited himself to one trailer, which was already released in late 2023.
