This information was confirmed by a journalist from Rebs Gaming, who specified that this decision caused internal disputes at Halo Studios, where part of the team is in favor of a complete transition to UE5, while the other is in favor of preserving the series' technological legacy.
According to information from Rebs, obtained from content creators who tried out the demo, Combat physics, animations, and enemy behavior are reminiscent of Halo Reach, and the basic controls feel closer to Halo 2.
