42nd Golden Joystick Awards: Results and Winners
42nd ceremony Golden Joystick Awards is over and the winners have been announced. Games, studios and even gaming hardware competed for the titles of the best, and this year more than 12 million votes in 21 categories. Three critically selected nominations were added to the main ones: Critics' Choice, Breakthrough Award and Streamers' Choice. The evening was hosted by such stars as Ben Starr, Alex McKenna and Neil Newbon.
Among the most notable winners are: helldivers 2, winning Best Multiplayer Game, Best Trailer, Best Console Game of the Year, and the Critics' Choice Award. Fantasy VII Rebirth's finale also performed well, winning Best Story, Best Soundtrack, and other awards.
The long-awaited one did not go unnoticed either. Black Myth: Wukong, which received the titles "Best Visual Component" and "Game of the Year".
