CAS technology is a dynamic sharpening filter in AMD's open-source FidelityFX toolkit, helping developers create high-quality post-processing effects that make games look beautiful while balancing visual fidelity and performance. CAS technology enhances image detail in low-contrast areas and minimizes artifacts from typical sharpening procedures, thereby improving image quality and delivering sharper, richer gameplay.
The new patch for the game F1 2019 version 1.07 offers gamers two new image smoothing modes. The first mode is TAA and FidelityFX Sharpening, which uses a temporarily smoothed image displayed at a specified resolution and uses AMD's CAS technology. The second mode is Upscaling with TAA and FidelityFX, which renders the scene at a reduced resolution, applies temporal anti-aliasing, then runs FidelityFX Upscaling and Contrast-Adaptive Sharpening to restore the image to the specified resolution.

A video dedicated to Borderlands 3 weapons has appeared online. More than 50 types of weapons that can be found in the game are shown. Different weapons have different abilities, some automatically generate energy shields when you hold your finger on the trigger and gradually increase the accuracy of your shots. The game retained the familiar spirit of the first two parts, acquired modern graphics, and changed the combat system to a more aggressive and dynamic one.
