Review: Playability
It is unclear what the developers wanted to achieve by releasing this project. They probably had their own ideas about creating their own German copy of Wolfenstein.
If you combine a crazy plot, terrible gameplay and a little carelessness, what do we get? That's right Wolfschanze 2 - all these components are visible to the naked eye. Immediately after the first launch of the game, it evokes a strange feeling of disgust and makes you immediately exit it and send it to another world.
In our opinion, this game is unlikely to find applicants, but perhaps we will be wrong...
Review: Game Graphics
The graphics are built on the FEAR 2 engine. The implementation in Wolfschanze 2 is as poor as the gameplay itself.
Everything around looks very gloomy, dark and tasteless; it’s generally unclear who works as a designer for the developers. The flow of criticism against this project can be inexhaustible, so we will move directly to our main task - identifying the resource intensity of GPUs.
Review: Resource-intensive game
For a comfortable game you will need a little bit - a dual-core processor of the Core 2 Duo level 2.2 GHz and RAM of 2 gigabytes.
All video cards were tested at maximum graphics quality using the Fraps program in the most resource-intensive part of the game. We tested the lower price segment video cards at a resolution of 1024x768, the mid-range video cards at a resolution of 1280x1024, and the upper price segment video cards were tested at a resolution of 1680x1050.
Testing at maximum Low End quality settings at 1024x768 resolution
It’s unfortunate, but even in such a gaming flaw, half of the budget video cards turn out to be failures.
Testing at maximum quality settings Midle End at 1280x1024 resolution
Here it is clear that only the most toothless modern accelerators are lagging behind.
Testing at maximum High End quality settings at 1680x1050 resolution
Here, as always, everything is in perfect order. In conclusion, it is worth noting that Nvidia video cards are far ahead. And if this game was at least somewhat interesting to gamers, we could call it an achievement. But as it is, it is just a mirage...
Conclusion: The game is not worth paying any attention to. Even if your card is not able to cope with it, there should be no reason for frustration.
