Official description of the game
Professional soldier Chris Redfield, well known to players from previous Resident Evil installments, does not give up hope of erasing from the face of the earth all traces of the activities of an organization that has been developing biological weapons for several decades. Until now, all research into creating an army of invulnerable monsters has ended in failure, but mad scientists do not lose optimism and continue to conduct cruel experiments on living people. In search of the truth, the main character goes to a small African settlement and discovers hundreds of people affected by another experimental virus. The poor fellows have changed not only externally, but also internally: pursued by severe hunger, they attack everything that moves. At the same time, the virus turned patients into ideal killers, making their bodies much stronger and more resilient. And very soon, Chris and his partner Sheva Alomar will have to face serious opponents who bear little resemblance to the mindless undead from previous Resident Evil games...

Features:
• Reason and feelings. Extremely dangerous and aggressive opponents: their intelligence and reaction speed have increased significantly, in addition, they have learned to find a common language with their own kind and are able to unite in groups.
• Power and precision. An impressive combat arsenal of heroes: knives, pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles and much more.
• Dream and reality. Modern graphic effects, an unprecedented level of detail, several know-how in the processing of lighting and shadows.
• Co-op for two participants with voice chat support.
Review: Playability
The game has a pretty nice interface and good gameplay videos. It's been a long time since the games of the Resident Evil series have visited personal computers, a very long time. Apparently it's been so long that the authors have forgotten what it's like to play games on a PC. The sensitivity of the mouse is too high and you need to set it to the minimum level before starting the game. The view is very inconvenient - it is located almost above the level of the character’s shoulder, which is why the view is very limited and it is very difficult to aim. The levels seem slightly compressed, which is why the game world is associated with some stiffness.

The wiser dead people are surprising. They are more like delirious butchers who circle around you with a bladed weapon raised above their heads, one gets the impression that they want to cut off the most delicious piece and are languishing in guesses - what could they burp out?
Although the game has all the above-mentioned shortcomings, the game will find its fans. But to fully enjoy the game you will need a console controller.
Review: Game Graphics
Take a quick look at the gaming industry and we won't see a trend toward better game graphics. Writers get everything from consoles, whose resources have long been exhausted. The game has DX10 support. but there is no difference in graphics between DX10 and DX9, so don’t delude yourself about this. The detailing of the main characters was at a decent level, and the secondary characters were at a satisfactory level. The environment looks somehow grayish and cartoonish - a little naive.

Game videos made with a game engine look more attractive, probably due to the application of some visual enhancements. Resident Evil 5 for PC supports 3D Vision, however, the prevalence of special 3D glasses is negligible, and using ordinary red-green stereo glasses as an alternative will only lead to a catastrophic deterioration of vision.
Review: Resource-intensive game
As for performance, it is at an acceptable level. The developers did not disappoint, which in principle is not surprising, there is nothing special to slow it down.

The testing was carried out by the built-in benchmark at high quality settings in DirectX10 mode. Anti-aliasing was taken at the level of 8X, since Radeon video cards do not support high anti-aliasing settings. The benchmark built into Resident Evil 5 records the average number of frames in dynamic mode when passing four different tests

All video cards were tested at maximum graphics quality. We tested the lower price segment video cards at a resolution of 1024x768, the mid-range video cards at a resolution of 1280x1024, and the upper price segment video cards at a resolution of 1680x1050.
Testing at maximum Low End quality settings at 1024x768 resolution

Only with video cards of the GeForce 9500 level and higher will you be able to play comfortably at maximum settings at this resolution.
Testing at maximum quality settings Midle End at 1280x1024 resolution
Mid-tier delivers excellent performance
Testing at maximum High End quality settings at 1680x1050 resolution

The game, as we have emphasized, is quite friendly to gaming hardware, so here we can see quite natural very high results. Since the game is tailored for Nvidia video cards, only the new ATI flagship manages to break ahead.
Final World : PC gamers did not get what they had been waiting for for so long; the game has a distinct console focus. The hardware requirements are very democratic. We can only recommend it to fans of the genre. 28% of the tested video cards remained outsiders, while the rest showed themselves to be good.
