DEVELOPMENT HISTORY

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is the long-awaited sequel to the historical RPG from the Czech studio Warhorse Studios. The first part, released in 2018, gained popularity due to its unique approach to the implementation of the medieval world, historical accuracy and realistic combat system. Development of the sequel began shortly after the success of the original, but Warhorse Studios faced many technical and conceptual challenges that affected the length of the game's development process.

CONCLUSION ON OPTIMIZATION

We have completed the final testing. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and the pre-release version of the game showed even more impressive results compared to preview tests. Performance has increased significantly, and now even without using upscaling technologies the game works so well that there is simply no need to enable them.

CryEngine once again demonstrates its power: improved optimization and competent distribution of the load on the processor in DirectX 12 provide stable FPS even in the most complex scenes. Thanks to the engine improvements and reduced load on the hardware, the game produces a high frame rate even on average systems, and on top ones it has virtually no limitations.

With this in review versions still have Denuvo, which slightly reduces the final performance. However, the developers have already confirmed that the final version will be released without protection, which means that the frame rate will be even higher for users. It remains to wait for the official release and confirm the final test results!
