Year of construction: 4 February 2022
Genre: Action, Survival horror, Open World, 1st Person

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is an action game that continues the events of the first part. After 15 years of fighting the virus, the disease began to win again. People managed to close themselves in the last major city, isolating themselves from the outside world. Despite the absence of a deadly virus here, the number of victims is constantly growing.

The city is mired in an internal struggle for vital resources and power. Civilization itself has slipped into the distant Middle Ages, but hope for a return to better times still glimmers in the eyes of dreamers. You will get the role of a real wanderer who has exceptional features.

GAME ENGINE

Dying Light is based on the Chrome Engine. Chrome Engine is a series of game engines developed and supported by the Polish company Techland. The first version of the engine was developed in 2003 for use in Techland's own fantasy 3D first-person shooter "Chrome". Later, the engine was successfully used by the company in games of other genres, not limited to shooters.

DyingLightGame 2015 01 27 23 01 02 121

The 1C company licensed the engine to developers collaborating with it, as a result of which it was used in the “Full Drive” series of car simulators, as well as in the games “Expedition Trophy: Murmansk-Vladivostok”, “Black Sea Motor Rally” and “GM Rally”. Another company, City Interactive, which develops and publishes games, uses Chrome in most of its own developments. For example, in the shooters Code of Honor, The Hell in Vietnam, Mortyr 3, Sniper: Ghost Warrior, etc.

Techland

"Chrome Engine" is constantly being improved and refined by the developer company. There are currently six versions of the game engine.

MFAA работает только с MSAA, если MSAA в игре не включить, то MFAA работать не будет

rolled on different MFAA games in the settings of which were only soapy TAA and FXAA and everything worked. Yes, it didn’t work everywhere. but in most games I ran it it worked.
and WHAT'S THE POINT to roll MFAA when the game has MSAA? 0_o
But when there is no MSAA in the game (and there are only soapy TAA and FXAA), then the point in rolling out MFAA already appears.

I don’t even see the point of writing which screenshot is which, because they are identical

I would really like to see this difference, but alas

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

Your pictures are identical. no difference.
For me the difference was quite significant. I don't know why it doesn't work for you.
Perhaps it stopped working with new wood.
I demolished the game. on old wood 425.31 all worked on 1070. and the difference was huge. there were no stairs.
turn on FXAA+MFAA (if the game hasn’t crashed yet) and the settings to maximum on old wood 425.31 should work

MFAA can be guaranteed to be used where MSAA exists
I have never used MFAA where there is MSAA. I don’t see much point in this. I set everything to MSAA and it was fine.
I’ll decide if I get nostalgic in the NSF, I’ll post the difference in the picture. I just don’t want to do it somehow. damn laziness.

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

I’ll say this, with a certain driver, in a certain game and a certain patch, you managed to get the result, but this will be an exception to the rule, because this cannot be repeated now. All you need to know is that MFAA can be guaranteed to be used where MSAA exists, or MSAA can be pushed through flags, but this mainly applies to older games

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

425.31 came out long before the 3000 line, so I won’t be able to try it.
both screens are from FXAA, everything is as you wrote, but 1 screen is also from MFAA

I love 3daynews: the fastest 12600K, and the coolest, and the most amazingly economical, and the most outstanding offer, and costs less than $300, ideal in terms of price and performance ratio, a truly unique processor that currently has no worthy alternatives in its price segment , any other option will be significantly worse both in terms of performance and energy consumption, and receives a well-deserved “Best Buy” award from us!!!
And the fact that the cheapest ATX motherboard on the crap B660 costs just 14000 rubles, and on the Z690 - a miserable 17000 rubles, is all nonsense, there’s no point in sullying advertising with such insinuations.

PS And how Rocket Lake blossomed under ̶S̶o̶b̶ya̶n̶i̶n̶e̶ Alder Lake - there are no words, let’s just say so.

what did you expect from Gavrichenkov? Never in the last 10 years has this happened, and here it is again.
Hmm, I just remember, wasn’t it him who tested Zen1 in single-channel mode with 2133 MHz memory? I remember one of these “Gavriks” distinguished himself

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

I didn’t expect anything, I remember this jester from the days of Ftsentr. But you can at least try to hide false objectivity under less loud statements and not suck so hard from the advertiser.

Так это же классическая Нвидиа
make a non-disabled soap TAA so that DLSS looks (against the background of non-disabled soap) not so pathetic.... this is literally everything to us. trend of the year
we will ruin TAA games and we will ruin them - the motto.
the further you go, the more blurry the games become... the year was 202. rubbed their eyes. We were arguing which was better.... trying to see at least something in the soap on the screen on our 4k.
a piece of soap with trains stretched to 4K is so cute straight nexgen that they deserve

DL2 cannot boast of a smooth picture without TAA, there is either pixelation or a grid blur filter

Is MFAA enabled through the Nvidia panel for the game profile not working?

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

MFAA only works with MSAA, if MSAA is not enabled in the game, then MFAA will not work

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

where is SMAA in games? In my opinion, it's quite good. Especially SMAA1TX, it smooths out almost everything and is less soapy than TAA. It’s not clear why all the developers are so attached to TAA?
In general, they could import the TAA sharpness scale, or even presets - like, choose for yourself how many previous frames it will use, because some games have this.

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

As for me, it’s more pleasant to watch a clean picture, even with ladders... than a soapy one. I absolutely cannot stomach TAA. (I throw MFAA on occasion where it is directly needed through the Nvidia control panel)
It’s not clear who likes this soap. they do it for someone. someone really likes it...
make a bunch of details (drawing out each leaf) ... and all these details diving into the mess at once with this soapy TAA
parts eat up a lot of resources. and they are not visible in this soapy mess....

This can't be true

Former Ubisoft dev says that Techland intentionally made AMD FSR look worse in Dying Light 2

https://www.dsogaming.com/news/former-ubisoft-dev-says-that-techland-intentionally-made-amd-fsr-look-worse-in-dying-light-2/

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

I made several comparisons based on that guide, the first - FSR according to the guide sharp 100%, DLSS sharp to my liking 49%, the second - FSR according to the guide sharp 100%, DLSS sharp 100%

"This game is sponsored by NVIDIA, so FSR does not have an ultra-high quality preset, and the sharpening value is as low as possible to make the technology look bad."

So this is classic Nvidia

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

This "fuck" made me smile more

As we can see AMDFSR Ultra Quality runs faster than native 4K. And while its image quality is better than DLSS Quality, its performance is not that great. Still, the values that TheHybred shared can indeed enable AMD FSR Ultra quality mode

After that, the scales didn’t stop being a hat, but they went down a notch. We are waiting for DLSS 2.5 where “well, it’s definitely better than the native one”

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

We are waiting for DLSS 2.5 where “well, it’s definitely better than the native one”
DLSS itself is a normal technology, but this rotten marketing for its promotion

This comment was made by the moderator on the site

of course. Only there are too many “buts” (compromises) that are stubbornly kept silent about. It is customary to hate the amazing and lick the invisible. don’t go to grandma here, if amuda was pushed by the same dylyses, then the whole world would instantly see the light and shed tears from the trains and soap, and with the fysyer, which would be pushed by invisibility, they would rush around like a panacea for godless trains at the cost of “such an insignificant detail , like underpixelation of small objects."
M - marketing.

By the way, we added disabling DOP in the settings. completely different look. Why didn't they add it right away?
