Desolation of Mordor is an add-on for the third-person action slasher Middle-earth: Shadow of War. In the expansion, you will be able to play as Baranor, the captain of Minas Ithil, who survived the death of the city. After escaping from the fortress, Baranor joined his brother, who was considered missing for a long time. The brothers gather an army of mercenaries to go east and fight the orc forces. The heroes will have to go through the dangerous lands of Lithlad and ultimately capture the Shindram fortress.

GAME ENGINE

The Jupiter EX game engine is a proprietary product of Monolith Productions. The latest version of the game engine introduced is Jupiter Extended (abbreviated as “Jupiter EX”). The 2005 game FEAR was developed using this engine, which at the time of its release was noted as using the most advanced artificial intelligence system.

In this version, image rendering (output) is carried out using DirectX 9 (newer APIs were later added). High-resolution textures, various bump texturing methods, and pixel shaders version 3.0 are supported. Many post-processing effects have been added, including: blur, motion blur, depth of field, etc. Third-party Havok technology is used as a physics engine.

Due to the specific work with some functions, the engine, at the time of its release, was quite demanding on the resources of the user’s computer. This mainly concerned working with soft dynamic shadows: to draw a soft shadow, the engine mixes several identical shadows with sharp edges at once, applying a blur effect to each of them. For the computer game FEAR, the FEAR Public Tools SDK was released, which includes a level editor that allows players to create locations for the game.

As of 2015, the official website of the engine with licensing information is unavailable, presumably the engine may be removed from sale; nevertheless, the developer Monolith Productions continues to actively use the technology, constantly improving it; Thus, the open world game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is built on the latest version of Jupiter EX, heavily modified.

When resolved 1920x1080  an average FPS of 25 frames was shown by video cards of the Radeon RX 460 or GeForce GTX 780 level. Minimum FPS of at least 25 frames can be provided by video cards of the level Radeon R9 380 X or GeForce GTX 780. A comfortable average FPS of 60 frames can be provided by solutions of the Radeon RX 480 or GeForce GTX 980 level.

When resolved 2560x1440 average FPS of 25 frames showed level video cards Radeon R9 380X or GeForce GTX 960. Minimum FPS of at least 25 frames can be provided by video cards of the level Radeon R9 290 or GeForce GTX 970. A comfortable average FPS of 60 frames can be achieved by level solutions  Radeon RX Vega 56 or GeForce GTX 1070.

When resolved 3840x2160  average FPS of 25 frames showed level video cards Radeon RX 480 or GeForce GTX 1060. Minimum FPS of at least 25 frames can be provided by video cards of the level Radeon RX Vega 56 or GeForce GTX 1070. A comfortable average FPS of 60 frames can be achieved by level solutions  GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.

Testing of video memory consumed by the game was carried out by the program MSI Afterburner. The indicator was based on the results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA with separate screen sizes 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 with different anti-aliasing settings. By default, the graph displays the most current solutions. Other video cards are added and removed from the schedule at the request of the reader.

When using video cards NVIDIA an acceptable figure of at least 25 frames was shown by the FX-4100 or Core i 3 2100 processors, and an average FPS of 60 frames can be achieved by solutions of the level FX-4100 or Core i 3 2100.   

When using video cards AMD processors showed an acceptable indicator of at least 25 frames FX-4100 or Core i 3 2100, and an average FPS of 60 frames can be provided by solutions of the level FX-6100 or Core i 3 2100.

одно я тебе могу точно сказать. когда с 3930 переходил, кидал сравнительные скрины 3д мару. 3939 на 4.1ггц 12ххх+ 6800 на 4ггц 17ххх+ что бы на 3930 столько было, надо было разогнать его на 4.8.
<br />я понял ,на что ты намекаешь . (8700к и 6800к ) ,но у тебя был старый сандаль ,и новый бродвел . а здесь ,новая архитектура . Как я и сказал ,тебе переживать особо не о чем . с бродвелом на 60 герц ,ты и переживёшь и следующее поколение хх7х ,а потом ,если захочешь то купишь . <br />
у меня всё гораздо проще чем ты думаешь. я знаю как думают люди, которые готовы на всё ради денег.
<br />дело не в человеках ,которые готовы потратить деньги . а в прогрессе ,который требует баланса проца +рам . или одно не будет тащить другое . это и так понятно .
