| GAME ENGINE |
Crysis 3, originally released in 2013, was lauded as a visual masterpiece with fast-paced and intense gameplay. It was the story of the Prophet's return to an abandoned New York, where players fought an alien invasion and the Cell corporation. In 2023, Crytek released an updated version of the game called Crysis 3 Remastered.
The development of Crysis 3 Remastered was aimed at elevating the already great original game by enriching it with new graphics technologies and performance improvements. Crytek has implemented temporal anti-aliasing technology, which improves the graphical experience and eliminates flickering and blurring effects. Screen space shadows and improvements to vegetation shading give shadows from fine details more realism.
Crytek also added screen space global illumination and voxel-based global illumination effects, which improved the visual representation of the illumination of the game space. Thanks to improved shadow technology, glass shadows and particles, the gaming experience is deeper and more impressive.
Improved lighting and cubemap reflections and image based lighting effects made the graphics even more vibrant and realistic. To deepen this realism, Crytek has updated nearly 500 of the game's 2000 materials and textures, as well as improved some key gameplay elements such as assets, vehicles, weapons, and character models.
Crysis 3 Remastered also receives nearly 150 unique performance improvements for the CPU and GPU, making the game run smoother and more stable. With support for 60 fps and resolutions up to 4K, players were able to enjoy the game in the highest quality on both PC and the latest generation consoles. Animation of weapons and water splashes at 60 fps added more smoothness and realism to the movements.
The PC-exclusive version of Crysis 3 Remastered added features such as water shadows, software and hardware ray tracing, and DLSS support. These features have improved the graphical quality and performance of the game on modern graphics cards, allowing players to become more immersed in the game world.

Testing of video memory consumed by the game was carried out by the program MSI Afterburner. The indicator was based on the results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA with separate screen sizes 1920x1080, 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 with various anti-aliasing settings. By default, the graph displays the most current solutions. Other video cards are added and removed from the chart at the request of the reader.

The test was carried out on the basic configuration of Core i 9 13900K with 32 GB DDR5 6400 MHz pre-installed memory. All used RAM was taken as an indicator. The RAM test on the entire system was carried out on various video cards without launching third-party applications (browsers, etc.). In the graphics, you can add and remove any resolutions and video cards as desired.
