Official description of the game
Arkham. A place where peals of inhuman, heartbreaking laughter roll through the dark, terrifying corridors. Threats, curses and evil giggles accompany the guards and doctors as they make their rounds. Despair is an inescapable companion for everyone who is unlucky enough to find themselves within these terrible walls. The most terrible and disgusting villains live here, whose distorted consciousness pushes them to commit incredible crimes. Their actions exhausted and shook the huge Gotham City, until Batman came to the rescue of the city lying in eternal darkness. But even within the walls of this psychiatric hospital, plans for revenge against the legendary hero are brewing. The twisted, monstrously distorted minds of criminal masterminds have united in their quest to destroy their sworn enemy. The trap is set, the victim approaches the door, but will the bat fall into the carefully prepared snare?

Review: Playability
Here it is, something old and beautiful, causing spiritual awe and respect. Many years ago, when we first saw films about Batman, we all wanted to be in a bat mask and terrify the so-called dregs of society. The creators of the game decided to give us a gift - they turned our dreams into reality. From the very beginning, we are thrown into the thick of things, giving us the opportunity to destroy enemies left and right. The game is staged very well, its plot can be the envy of any modern blockbuster. It should also be noted that the excellent voice acting allows you to comfortably immerse yourself in the gameplay.

Review: Game Graphics
The game graphics are based on the unreal engine 3, of course it is already worn out, but the developers were able to get the most out of it. Gorgeous detailing of the scenery, high-quality character models, varied environments - all this allows you to plunge headlong into the adventures of your favorite character. Of course, I would like an open game world and large territories, but this would most likely lead to greater resource dependence, and as a result, a decrease in the graphic beauty of the game itself - so we must give credit for what we have, the developers did their best
We can congratulate all owners of Ge Force video cards - the game has support for NVIDIA PhysX. Of course, it is not implemented in all aspects of the game, not all elements of the game are built on this physical model, but it’s still nice to know that the list of games that support NVIDIA PhysX continues to expand.
Review: Resource-intensive game
Game performance, if you don’t want to see NVIDIA PhysX in action, is at a completely acceptable level, but if you want to fully enjoy the game at the highest physics settings, then even the most advanced single-chip card is not enough, so you can’t do without a second card to accelerate physics. In general, the game requires a dual-core Core 2 Duo 2,4 processor and about 2 gigabytes of RAM.
For owners of Radeon cards, you can see PhysX technology in action only at medium settings if you have the most advanced quad-core processor - and even then it will not be enough.
All video cards were tested at maximum graphics quality. Since Radeon video cards do not support anti-aliasing in Batman: Arkham Asylum, we did not use it for generalized tests. Also, for generalized tests, we took the physics parameter as disabled, since Radeon cards do not support it. We tested the lower price segment video cards at a resolution of 1024x768, the mid-range video cards at a resolution of 1280x1024, and the upper price range video cards were tested at a resolution of 1680x1050.

In general, owners of 8800GTX and higher video cards will be able to appreciate all the charms of the game, but only on condition that they have more than 512 MB of video memory on board. When using higher resolutions, more powerful video cards or a second video card as a physical accelerator will be required for smooth gaming.
