Nibitor
NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) is a utility for changing quite a few BIOS settings in NVIDIA video cards, including: loading and saving any BIOS Image files; loading the current BIOS from memory; change Device ID, Sub Device ID and Sub Vendor ID (built-in list of more than one and a half thousand vendors); changing internal fonts; self-installation of boot options.
DOWNLOAD FROM THE PROGRAM WEBSITE
Let's consider one of the most functional programs for NVIDIA Bios. You can do almost everything and "even more" in it ... Having launched the program, the main window appears in front of us.

Where can we:
Through the menu:
1. File - load or save a BIOS file.
2. Through the "Tools" tab:
![]() |
a) Manually edit bios-HexView.
b) Read the BIOS directly from the video card into a program or file. First, select the video card in the Select Device menu, and then choose where to read into the program (Read into Nibitor) or into the file (Read into File).
c) Create or modify the voltage table (Voltage table Editor) of the kernel.
PSOnly on those video cards that support softvolt mod, for example, GF6800 and GF8800 (some models).
d) Adv. Memory config for setting timings through registers.
3. Info - various kinds of information.
Through bookmarks:
1. Clockrates - set the frequencies of the video card.
By activating "Change amount of active performance levels" you can select several frequency levels, for example, 2D3D. The frequencies will change depending on the operating mode of the video card.
PS Set the video memory frequencies for all modes to be the same, otherwise the video card will freeze when switching modes. Set different frequencies for the video core.
2. In the "Voltages" tab, you can do "Softvoltmod" if your video card allows it. Just by choosing the desired voltage on the core.

3. In the "Timings" tab, video memory timings are edited. For this you need:
![]() |
a) Define a group of timings to edit - by simply clicking "Autoselect Timingset".
b) By selecting "Detailed Timings" you get a breakdown of the timings, where you can change them.

c) By selecting "Test Timings" in real time you can test the new timings. By clicking "Get Timings" you get the currently set timings, and by choosing "Set Timings" you set new ones.
PS After the reboot, all test timings are reset.

4. In the "Tempertures" tab, you can specify the temperature of the thermal protection and the cooler speed, depending on the mode of operation of the video card.
![]() |
5. In the "Boot Settings" tab, select the inscriptions that the BIOS displays during boot. You can also change the Tv Out mode.

After you have done all the manipulations, save the new BIOS and flash it.
