The first patch for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered on PC has been released

1.0.10407.714

Today N и Nixxes Software released the first update for the PC version The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, which received a version 1.0.10407.714. The patch includes mouse control improvements, additional control over image sharpness, as well as corrections several failures.

In particular, the developers have made changes to the detection system barely noticeable movements when aiming, which should make shooting more accurate and responsive when playing with a mouse. This is especially important for PC gamers who prefer fine-tuning controls. In addition, the update improves the performance of Upscale Sharpness slider, which now allows for more precise adjustment of the level of post-processing sharpening depending on the player's preferences.

It is important to note that these changes may change the visual perception of the game, especially in scenes with high contrast and detail. The developers recommend that users experiment with the sharpness slider to achieve the desired image quality.

The patch also fixes several critical crashes, including:

  • Problem with crash when using resolutions 1440p and the Volumetric Quality parameter set to medium;

  • A crash that occurred when moving the mouse erratically in the game menu before starting a new session.
