The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is out on Steam — system requirements have been published
Bethesda released The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered on Steam — the game is now available for download and purchase. Following the long-awaited release, the following official system requirements, which confirmed earlier leaks regarding the volume and technical features.
For installation you will need: 125 GB available space on the drive, which is almost 20 times more than the original release. This is due to the use of engine Unreal Engine 5, highly detailed textures and new lighting. The game requires a minimum of 16 GB of RAM, and the recommended characteristics already include 32 GB arrangement, video cards level RTX 2080 or RX 6800XT, as well as processors like the Ryzen 5 3600X or i5-10600K.

Both configurations require Windows 10 64-bit and DirectX 12 support.
According to the developers' description, the game has an updated lighting system, reworked models, shadows, and improved environment geometry. Path tracing, DLSS, and FSR are supported, as well as integration with gamepads and cross-platform achievements.
The remaster includes all previously released DLC and is compatible with mods. Despite the "Remastered" prefix, the amount of work is closer to a full-fledged remake.
