Steam to Add Accessibility Features to Game Pages by End of 2025

Company Valve announced an update for Steam store, which will allow you to display detailed information about the games on the pages accessibility featuresThis innovation is aimed at players with special needs and should make it easier to choose games that suit their capabilities.

Each game page will have a special section where developers can indicate the availability of certain options. Among the categories of settings are:

— Game process: for example, adjustable difficulty level;

— Picture: change font size, alternative color schemes, ability to disable visual effects;
— Management: Support for alternative input methods such as speech-to-text and vice versa.
