Silent Hill f - Game Size and Pre-Load Date Revealed

Konami and NeoBards Entertainment are preparing the launch Silent Hill — a new main entry in the legendary psychological horror series. This time, the game takes players to 1960s Japan, and the visual style gets an even more dark and disturbing design, combining an atmosphere of decadence with terrifying elements of body horror.

According to information from the PlayStation Game Size service, Silent Hill f on PS5 will be 36,637 GB in size. This is a standard size for games with photorealistic graphics and cinematic inserts. Data on the size of the game on other platforms has not yet been presented, however on Xbox the volume is usually similar, but on a PC the final installation may turn out to be significantly more due to additional packs and optional high resolution textures.

The developers have confirmed the pre-load dates: for Standard Edition owners will be able to download the product on September 23., two days before the official release. Those who will apply Deluxe Edition, will be able to start playing even earlier - preloading for them will start on September 21. The release itself scheduled for September 25, 2025.

Silent Hill will the eighth main game in the series, while being noticeably different from the previous parts. In addition to the new location and time period, the authors emphasize battles, visual disgust and psychological pressure, and not just on an atmospheric walk through foggy streets. It is already noticeable from the first frames: The game will combine Japanese mythology, body horror and deep personal drama, turning every scene into a disturbing metaphor.
