Patch 1.6 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will bring new tasks and equipment
GSC Game World Studio is preparing a major update for release Patch 1.6 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which will add content that will expand the capabilities of players in the Zone.
One of the main innovations will be new quest, which involves an old character that fans of the series are familiar with. This promises not only an additional layer of story, but also more interaction with the game's existing characters.
The developers are also implementing into the game Night vision devices (NVG), which will significantly expand the tactical options for combat and exploration of the Zone in the dark. Now stalkers will be able to feel more confident in conditions of complete darkness, where previously they had to rely solely on flashlights.
In addition, new items for weapon customization will appear in the game world. In particular, it is noted that extended magazine for Kora 1911, which will improve the combat capabilities of this pistol. It is expected that the list of modifications will be expanded in the future.
Thus, patch 1.6 strengthens the balance between the atmosphere of survival and freedom of choice of playstyle, offering both new story opportunities and practical improvements to equipment.
