Metal Eden postponed to summer 2025 - developers want to improve the game after feedback on the demo

Developers sci-fi shooter Metal Eden announced release postponement: now the project will be released summer 2025 years, and not May 6, as previously planned. There is no exact release date yet. The reason was the conclusions made after analyzing the feedback from players who tested the demo version.

In an official statement, the team noted that the feedback helped determine key areas, where improvement is needed. The developers decided to spend extra time polishing the gameplay, to achieve the stated quality. They thanked the players for their participation and promised to announce the final date later.

Metal Eden is created by the authors of Ruiner and is fast paced first person shooter, which takes place in a dark futuristic setting. The game will be released on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5In the demo version, players appreciated the combat dynamics, visual style and atmosphere, but pointed out the rawness of certain mechanics and issues with weapon balance.

The developers assure that the desire to release a finished and polished product is more important than haste. The approach resembles the philosophy of "ready when ready", and in the current conditions of the transfer this is perceived positively. Moreover, the action genre will definitely not be hurt by a stylish and unconventional representative next year.
