God of War Ragnarök Patch 2: New fixes, DLSS improvements, and support for lower memory GPUs
God of War Ragnarök received an update Patch 2, which includes fixes for a variety of performance and control settings issues, especially on PC. One of the key improvements is the fix for bugs with NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, which previously did not launch correctly. DLSS now works as expected, improving image quality and performance on supported graphics cards.
This update also includes fixes for bugs related to NVIDIA SLR, which could previously appear as disabled in the UI when DLSS was enabled. Temporal markers for NVIDIA Reflex have also been improved, which should improve the game's responsiveness to player input.
Additional changes:
- Improved sound settings: fixed the issue with no display surround sound in the interface, which affected the quality of audio calibration. Fixed a bug where stereo mixing caused abrupt volume changes in some scenes.
- Updated controller icons in the interface, which are now displayed in high resolution, eliminating blurriness and low image quality.
- Fixed bugs with controls in quick events (QTE), which occurred if the player swapped the interaction and dodge buttons while actively supporting Steam Input.
- On the Steam deck Fixed a bug with incorrect button assignment that prevented the completion of the tutorial.
Support for video cards with 4 GB VRAM
Previously, the game blocked launch on video cards with less than 6 GB VRAM, now this restriction has been removed, which allows you to run the game on video cards and with 4 GB storageHowever, it is worth noting that performance on these cards may be unstable, and players may experience freezes and FPS drops. It is recommended to play on such maps at your own risk.
