Ghost of Yotei Coming October 2nd to PlayStation 5 — Trailer, Date, and Edition Details
Sony has unveiled a new trailer Ghost of Yotei, officially confirming the release date - 2 2025 October, the. The game will be released on PlayStation 5 и PlayStation 5 Pro simultaneously around the world. The video showed new enemies - a gang Yotei Six, which are hunted by the main character named Atsu.
The project is positioned as a spiritual successor Ghost of Tsushima, but noticeably improved graphics and a darker setting. Comparisons to Sucker Punch's previous game are obvious: the visual style, atmosphere, and approach to close combat are reminiscent of Tsushima, but Ghost of Yotei takes things a step further in terms of animation, lighting, and world-building detail.
Starting from May 2nd pre-order. The basic edition will cost $69.99, Digital Deluxe Edition — at $79.99. The Deluxe Bundle includes the Snake armor, an alternative color for the starting gear, early unlock of Traveler cards, and other in-game bonuses. All pre-orders will receive an exclusive mask and 7 PSN avatars.
Will also be available Collector's Edition. It includes a replica of the ghost mask, Atsu's belt, katana guard, coin pouch, and instructions for the Zeni Hajiki board game. The box also includes a paper ginkgo tree with a wolf at the base and 4 art cards.
Development is being carried out exclusively for PlayStation by Sony's internal studio. It is not yet known whether a port to PC is planned.
