Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's Brushes with Death DLC Coming May 15

Studio Warhorse Studios has announced the exact release date of the first story add-on Brushes with Death for medieval action role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. As the developers confirmed, the release will take place May 15 on all target platforms, including PCs and next-generation consoles.

The add-on will be available at PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S. The premiere was originally planned for the summer, but was then postponed to mid-May. The announcement was accompanied by a short trailer demonstrating the atmosphere and the plot of the story.

The plot of Brushes with Death will tell about a mysterious artist named Master Voite, who asks the protagonist for help in finding inspiration to create a new masterpiece. In exchange the character will teach the player the technique of drawing coats of arms on shields, expanding the customization options. Warhorse notes that this is not just a side story - there is a deeper intrigue behind it, connected to the past of the master himself.

Brushes with Death is included in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Season Pass, priced at $30. It also includes two as-yet-unannounced story DLCs. The add-on can also be purchased separately., however, the developers have not yet announced the price separately.

In conjunction with the announcement, Warhorse also launched the first discount on the game itself on Steam. Until May 15, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and its "gold edition" can be purchased with a 15% discount. The promotion is not valid in Russia, but applies to all other regions.

The add-on will be released simultaneously with patch 1.3, which will add horse racing and archery to the game, as well as performance improvements. According to Warhorse, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Since its release on February 4, it has sold over 3 million copies.
