Delta Force: Hawk Ops begins alpha testing on August 6
The developers of Delta Force: Hawk Ops have announced the start of the next phase of alpha testing, which starts on August 6. The test will only be available to PC players in Europe and the number of participants is limited. You can register on the official website of the game by clicking on the “request access” option on the Steam page (available from August 2), or through key draws during live broadcasts on Twitch.
Those who participated in previous tests are guaranteed access to the next ones. In the August alpha, players will be able to try out two game modes: Hazard Operations, where squads of three fight for resources on a huge map, and Havoc Warfare, in which 32 players fight for strategic locations. More than 40 types of weapons with a customization system and six unique operators will be available in the game.
Progress made during testing will not be carried over to the full game. The game currently supports mouse and keyboard, but controller support will be added at launch. The release date for Delta Force: Hawk Ops has not yet been announced, but it is known that the game will be free and available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and mobile devices. The single-player campaign will be a remake of the 2003 game Delta Force: Helicopter on Fire.
