Company Capcom announced that sales of the remake Resident Evil 4 exceeded the impressive mark of 10 million copies. However, the most attentive fans noticed a mysterious detail. At the end of the video, a sign with words of gratitude appears. If you rotate the image 90 degrees to the right, you can discern Roman numeral "IX" (9), which gave rise to rumors of an imminent announcement Resident Evil 9. Capcom has used similar Easter eggs before, so many fans are sure that the hint was not made by accident.
In addition, it is known that Capcom confirmed the development of a new part of Resident Evil in the summer of 2024. The project is led by Koshi Nakanishi, who was previously the game director for Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil 7.
