Automatic difficulty balancing system Black Myth: Wukong
In Game Black Myth: Wukong some bosses will adapt to the player's abilities. Depending on the time taken to defeat the boss in its original form, the game will decide whether to offer subsequent stages or not. This automatic difficulty balancing system works the opposite of the one implemented in Shadow of the Erdtree: if the player shows low skill level, the game will show compassion and make later stages easier.
The key factor here will be the time spent, which will encourage players to act quickly rather than remain on the defensive, as dragging out the fight can prevent access to additional content. In soullikes, bosses can change appearances three to four times per battle, which makes this decision controversial, especially since there is no way to disable this system.
В Black Myth: Wukong There will be no difficulty levels, and according to the developers, this is a hardcore project. However, the new boss adaptation system may change this perception. The game will be released on August 20 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
