Atomfall from the creators of Sniper Elite is released on March 27 — the first reviews are already published
Rebellion, known for its series Sniper Elite, is preparing to present a new project - Atomfall. It is a post-apocalyptic open-world action game set in an alternative Britain, five years after the nuclear power plant disaster, players must explore the exclusion zone using not a compass, but contextual hints for navigation, which adds originality to the gameplay.
The game has already received its first reviews - on Metacritic her average rating is 76 points, on OpenCritic - 78. At the same time, 75% of critics recommend the project. The total time of passage varies from 15 to 25 hours. Reviewers note that the combat system is made decently, and the presence multiple endings adds interest.
Reviewers were divided: Shacknews gave it a 9/10, DualShockers gave it an 8.5, and Digital Trends gave it a total of 2.5/5. This range of reviews indicates a mixed reception of the project. Some critics praise the atmosphere and idea, while others criticize it for technical rough edges and outdated elements.
