Unity showed a demo of the interactive first-person story “Book of the Dead”
The Unity team has published a tech demo of “Book of the Dead”, which presents the real gameplay of the project, which is an interactive first-person story. The environment was created using Quixel Megascans and scanning real natural objects for further use in game rendering. Scene lighting is based on the experimental Delighting Tool developed by Unity Labs. According to the developers, the “Book of the Dead” demo combines elements of a movie and a game, since the project allows the player to freely explore the world around him.
