Demonstration of pre-alpha gameplay of the multiplayer survival simulator SCUM

Devolver Digital has published a demo of the gameplay of the multiplayer survival simulator SCUM. It shows details of overcoming obstacles. The developers also claim that the game will feature an unprecedented level of character customization and progression, where knowledge and skills are the main weapons in order to survive. In particular, characters will be affected by wet clothing (can make them sick), and characters with more weight or heavy equipment will run slower and get tired faster. The plot centers around the second season of the TV show SCUM, where the heroic prisoners in a bloody conflict compete on the island of Banques de Cayenne for the support of viewers and sponsors. The game will be released on Steam Early Access in the first quarter of 2018.
