Intel Core Processor Prices Ultra 200: 285K for $589, 265K for $394, 245K for $309

Intel is preparing to release a new generation of processors Core Ultra 200, also known as Arrow Lake-S. Ahead of this event, insider Raichu revealed the expected prices for the new series of processors, which will be officially presented in October 2024.

According to the leak, the new models have mostly received a slight price cut compared to their predecessors, the 14th generation processors, although the flagship model remains at the same price:

• Core Ultra 9 285K - $589, which is the same as the price i9-14900K, which is the previous top model. This processor has 24 cores (8 high-performance and 16 energy-efficient), which makes it a powerful solution for multitasking and gaming.

• Core Ultra 7 265K - $394, which is 4% cheaper than the previous one i7-14700KThis processor will be equipped with 20 cores and will provide excellent performance and price ratio for a wide range of users.

• Core Ultra 7 265KF – $379, which is 3% cheaper than the version with graphics (i7-14700KF), and is aimed at those who use discrete video cards.

• Core Ultra 5 245K - $309, which is 3.2% cheaper i5-14600K, it's a budget option for gamers and content creators who want high performance at an affordable price.

• Core Ultra 5 245KF – $294, unchanged from the previous generation.

The main difference of the new generation will be the use of a new socket LGA 1851, which requires upgrading motherboards. This can make the transition to the new generation more difficult for those who have already invested in previous models. However, thanks to the optimized architecture Lion Cove и Skymont E-cores, series processors Core Ultra 200 should show significant gains in performance and energy efficiency.
