Samsung Introduces 9100 PRO – PCI-E 5.0 SSD with Record Speed of Up to 14 MB/s
Company Samsung announced SSD 9100 PRO series, working on PCI-E 5.0 standard. The new series is presented in versions 1 TB, 2 TB, 4 TB and 8 TB, providing almost double the speed increase compared to the previous generation.

Samsung has implemented 5nm controller, which made it possible to increase energy efficiency by 49%. In random input/output operations the disk gives out 2K IOPS (read) and 200K IOPS (write), which significantly exceeds the indicators 990 PRO (1K/400K IOPS).
New product available with and without radiatorWhere the version with cooling costs $20 more. Prices: 1 TB – $199, 2 TB – $299, 4 TB – $549, and the version 8TB will be released in the second half of 2025.
