Despite attempts NVIDIA Limit Reviews GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB, the video card has finally reached independent journalists. However, the launch of sales cannot be called a failure. According to 3DCenter, the release of the 5060 Ti was relatively successful, especially considering that both versions went on sale at recommended price: €399 for 8GB and €449 for 16GB. Such adherence to MSRP is rare given the inflated prices of recent years. German retailer MindFactory has sold over 105 cards despite the current financial difficulties.

The lack of sales data for the 8GB version may indicate that it low popularity or deliberate concealment of statistics - such cases have already occurred before. Against this background, AMD's strategy, which is preparing to launch Radeon RX 9060 XT in two versions: 8 and 16 GB. The company can take advantage of the situation by offering a competitive price and thereby neutralizing potential criticism about the memory capacity.

Interestingly, almost nine years ago, the RX 480 with 8GB and a 256-bit bus was priced at $229. The RTX 5060 Ti and RX 9060 XT use a 128-bit bus, meaning they have significantly less bandwidth, despite the faster GDDR6. So even in 2025, memory capacity and bus remain key constraints in the mid-range segment.
