Radeon RX 9070 XT Continues to Dominate - AMD Outsells NVIDIA Almost Six to One in Retail Sales
Fresh retail sales data for graphics cards for week 15 of 2025 from MindFactory, published TechEpiphany, demonstrate confident AMD leadership on the market. The bestseller was the Radeon RX 9070 XT — sold 315 units, which is almost in six times more, than the RTX 5070 and in ten times higher, than the RTX 5080. This result is explained not only by price and performance, but also by stable supplies.
Overall, AMD has captured 69,68% of the market in terms of the number of cards sold (540 units), while NVIDIA is content with 29,68% (230 units). Intel closes the top three with a share of less than 1% - only 5 ARC B570 video cards sold. Despite NVIDIA's higher average price (1528 euros versus 682 for AMD), AMD is also the leader in terms of revenue: 51,07% versus 48,73%.
What is particularly noteworthy is that MindFactory has not implemented not a single RTX 5090, and most RTX 50 models are either out of stock or selling well above MSRP. The launch of the RTX 5060 and 5070 hasn't solved this problem - prices remain high, and demand for AMD continues to grow. In this environment, the Radeon RX 9070 XT offers a more affordable and balanced choice, especially considering the shortages of competitors.
It is clear that the RDNA 4 architecture has proven successful. The success of the RX 9070 XT confirms that consumers are ready to vote with their rubles for stable supplies, affordable price и adequate performance, especially when NVIDIA is struggling with logistics. Ahead is the launch of budget RX 9060 solutions, which could further strengthen AMD's position in 2025.
