NVIDIA App now supports all DLSS presets and custom resolution scaling
Company NVIDIA has released an update NVIDIA Apps, adding support allх DLSS Super Resolution presets via the Override feature. Users can now choose between modes Performance, Balanced, Quality, DLAA and Ultra Performance , even if a particular game does not have built-in support for the technology.
Before this update, there were only two options available via Override: DLAA и Ultra Performance , which greatly limited the choice. The first provided improved image quality, but reduced FPS, while the second provided increased performance, but at the expense of visual perception. Now the user can choose the best option for both maximum clarity and balance with performance.
It also became possible custom resolution scaling — from 33% to 100%. This gives the user precise control over image quality: 100% corresponds to DLAA, and 33% to the mode Ultra Performance. This flexibility will allow DLSS to be adapted to any gaming conditions, even without official support from developers.
Additionally, NVIDIA continues to integrate the old Control Panel features into the new app: color rendering and screen scaling parameters are now also available in the NVIDIA App through a modern and user-friendly interface. All innovations are available to users with the GRD or Studio driver version 572.83 WHQL and newer.
