NVIDIA announced GPU Feynman – Rubin's successor with next-generation HBM
On the GTC 2025 company NVIDIA presented road map of its future GPUs, including a new architecture Feynman. Named after Richard Feynman, this GPU new generation will be the successor Ruby and will come out closer to 2028 year.
Ruby Ultra equipped four AI GPU-chips, connected by a coherent cache memory. The card uses 1TB HBM4e, and the declared performance reaches 100 petaflops FP4The platform also includes CPU Veracontaining 88 cores с SMT i podderjkoy 176 threads. NVLink C2C provides 1,8 TB/s throughput.
GPU Feynmanwhich will be released after Rubin, will receive new generation HBM (HBM4e or HBM5) and the same Vera processors. NVIDIA has not yet disclosed details, but it is expected a breakthrough in AI computing performance.
In addition, the company announced 8th generation NVSwitch (NVL-Next), Spectrum7 (204T, CPO) и CX10, which will be released in 2028 year. It may also appear in the future Feynman Ultra, but most likely its release will take place closer to 2030 year.
