GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Coming April 16

Company NVIDIA officially set its sights on RTX 5060 Ti release — the new product will be released on April 16 in two versions at once: with 16 and 8 GB GDDR7 video memory. Initially, it was assumed that the older version would go on sale in March, and the younger one would be released later, but the company revised its plans, combining the launch of both models.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti

The GB206-300-A1 graphics processor is equipped with 4608 CUDA cores and uses a 128-bit memory bus. Despite the narrow interface, the use of GDDR7 with a frequency of 28 Gbps provides a bandwidth of 448 GB/s, which is 55% higher, than the RTX 4060 Ti. This should compensate for the limited bus width and provide a performance boost in games.

Both versions of the video card will have a TDP of 180 W, which is 20 W more than its predecessor. The models will be available for under $500, making them an attractive option for mainstream gaming. The main goal of the RTX 5060 Ti is to occupy a niche between the RTX 4060 and 5070 series, providing a good price-performance ratio.

There are still questions about availability, as the market has already seen shortages of new models. However, launching both versions on the same day will simplify the choice and provide a unified positioning for consumers. The confirmed date is April 16 2025 years.
