ASUS Overclocks RTX 5090 Astral to 3,4GHz: Consumption Nearly 1000W
ASUS Shows Impressive Graphics Card Overclocking Results GeForce RTX 5090 Astral, reaching the frequency 3,4 GHz using liquid nitrogen (LN2). Overclocking was accompanied by an increase in the memory frequency to 34 Gbps, which is 21% higher than the baseline. However, such high figures required power consumption up to 1000 W, and the total system load was 1800 W.
In 3DMark tests the results were impressive:
- В Port Royal the card scored 43 points (+372% to the standard RTX 25);
- В Time spy Extreme — 30 points (+270%);
- В Fire Strike Ultra — 36 points (+431%).
This increase in productivity was made possible by the increase boost frequencies by 41% compared to factory settings. However, overclocking at this level remains the domain of enthusiasts, as it requires extreme cooling and significant energy consumption.
