Intel Announcement Arrow Lake and the Z890 board will be released on October 10, the review embargo will be lifted on October 24
According to the latest rumors, Intel plans to announce its new motherboards Z890 and processors Arrow Lake already 10 October, and the embargo on publishing reviews will be lifted 24 October. This confirms the information about the imminent launch of the new platform. LGA 1851, which will become a competitor for AMD Ryzen 9000 and chipsets X870E/X870.
New processors Core Ultra 200 will include models Ultra 9 285K, Ultra 7 265K и Ultra 5 245K, which will be the first in the line Arrow Lake. K-versions will appear earlier, and non-K versions will be released in early 2025. These chips promise improved power efficiency and lower clock speeds compared to previous generations.
The new platform will be exclusive to DDR5 and will offer improved connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 4, PCIe 5.0 for the main M.2 slot and PCIe 4.0 for the second. Details will become known this month after the official announcement and publication of the first reviews.
