World of Tanks 9.6 graphic video review of APU
Introduction |
We continue our series of APU video reviews, the purpose of which was to test the top integrated graphics solutions from AMD and Intel. The next game accepted for testing built-in graphics solutions was World of Tanks, version 9.6.
Game information |
World of Tanks is a client-based massively multiplayer online game in real time in the genre of an arcade tank simulator in the historical setting of World War II, developed by the Belarusian studio Wargaming.net. The developers position the game as an MMO action game with elements of a role-playing game, shooter and strategy. The concept of "World of Tanks" is based on team tank battles in PvP mode.
In the new version of the game, combat locations, tanks and objects in the game have been redesigned for a new physically correct lighting system, which allows you to convey all the variety of materials found in the real world, and a targeted hit on an ammunition rack can now tear off the turret of an enemy tank. Fans of tank battles received ten HD models of tanks with increased detail and realistic suspension and hangars, based on real tank repair shops. All musical compositions heard in the game were remastered at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.

Configurations were tested with MSI Afterburner. The purpose of the test is to determine how platforms from different manufacturers behave under the same conditions. The average and minimum FPS were taken as performance indicators. Below is a comparison video review:
Our configurations were tested at different screen sizes of 1920x1080 with minimum, medium and high game graphics quality settings.

Testing at various quality settings 1920x1080
Well, surprisingly, the results of AMD and Intel are almost equal, with the exception of a slight advantage of the A10-7850K. You can play World of Tanks 9.6 comfortably on an APU only with minimal settings - at medium and high settings the playability decreases significantly.
